Job Description
The Director of Network Development leads the strategy, development, and performance of vendor networks to support client success and organizational growth. This role oversees network development, vendor management, and contracting to ensure efficiency, alignment with company goals, and measurable value.
Serving as the primary contact for vendor networks, the Director manages contract negotiations, service delivery, and scalable solutions while supporting new client implementations and optimizing coverage, cost, and quality.
The role also leads the Network Development team, promoting a high-performance, collaborative culture and driving cross-functional efforts to improve processes, systems, and overall network performance.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of vendor network strategy for new and existing clients
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve service delivery
- Oversee vendor recruitment, contracting, and relationship management to ensure coverage, quality, and cost efficiency
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to achieve client savings and company profitability targets
- Serve as a key liaison for client implementations, ensuring network readiness and alignment with client needs
- Assist with analyzing network performance, vendor coverage, and cost structures to drive data-informed decisions
- Establish and improve processes, tools, and systems to enhance scalability and operational efficiency
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Network Development team
Travel Requirements
- This is a remote-first role; however, travel to our Rocky Mount, NC office is required approximately 10% of the time.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in network development, vendor management, contracting, or related field
- Strategic mindset with a proactive, solutions-driven approach
- Proven experience leading vendor negotiations and managing complex relationships
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to develop and manage teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or health administration preferred
- Hospice experience
- Durable Medical Equipment experience
